iRacing Gift Certificates Now Available In Time For The Holiday Season; Perfect for iRacers and non-iRacers
BEDFORD, MA (December 15, 2008) - The perfect gift for any racer? More racing! And now, in time for the holidays, here comes the iRacing Gift Certificate, a convenient way to give the gift of racing. Available at www.iracing.com, the Gift Certificate can be purchased by iRacing members or non-members and given to members or as a get-started gift to non-members.
"We've had a lot of requests for this," said Scott McKee, iRacing's vice president of marketing. "A lot of our members have family or friends who want to give them iRacing cars or tracks, and other members want to give iRacing content to fellow iRacers or subscriptions to friends they want to introduce to the service. Now there's a convenient way to give the gift of iRacing - a few clicks and you can cross another item off your holiday shopping list."
McKee explained that the iRacing Gift Certificate will continue to be available after the holiday season. "This is something that's useful year around," he said. "Everyone has birthdays and there are other occasions for giving gifts. And the certificate itself makes a statement that this is something special. The buyer has the option of printing out the elegant, full-color certificate for in-person gift giving, or having it delivered anywhere in the world as a printable e-mail."
The iRacing Gift Certificate is available in denominations from $5.00 and up. In addition to the home page of the iRacing public site, certificates are also available on the members' site, in the iRacing store. Credits can be used to establish new memberships, extend existing ones, purchase additional content, or renew expired accounts.
